How to Sponsor an Instrument from the National Museum of Music

One of the ways in which the Association of Friends of the National Museum of Music (AAMNM) supports the museum’s musical heritage is through the sponsorship of a musical instrument. This sponsorship can take two forms:
- Raising funds for its restoration;
- Raising funds for the acquisition of a new instrument.

AAMNM will regularly announce which instruments are available for sponsorship, according to the current needs of the National Museum of Music.

Once the necessary funds have been raised for the restoration or acquisition of an instrument, both AAMNM and the museum will publicly acknowledge the contributing members.

For Companies & Individuals

Beyond sponsoring a musical instrument, there are various other activities that require support from AAMNM members, as well as individuals and organizations wishing to contribute to its mission.

AAMNM’s action plan includes support for research projects, concert programming, exhibitions, cultural events, educational initiatives, and outreach programmes. Companies and individuals are invited to collaborate in different ways, such as:
- Annual contributions;
- Sponsoring specific projects;
- Other forms of support proposed by members, based on the needs of the Museum and the Association.
